Volvo has been re-branding itself and moving away from the tag of a 'safe and boring' car manufacturer reputation that it's got itself over the past decade. Following the same design language from its 2019 range, the S60 speaks the same design elements.
The S60 is the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), Volvo’s advanced modular product platform that underpins all Volvos in the 90 and 60 Series. Key features include the iconic “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlight design.
Connectivity and infotainment
All new Volvos comes with Sensus - Volvo’s connectivity and infotainment system. Providing a huge touchscreen with navigation and in-car entertainment including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is made available as well.
The 2020 S60 is the first Volvo ever which will be sold without a diesel option - a sign of the times to comes from Volvo. Powered by Volvo's Drive-E Petrol powertrain, the range topping T8 Twin Engine AWD delivers a whopping 400bhp.
Volvo’s Twin Engine plug-in hybrid delivers all the benefits of a high performance, low emission petrol engine with an electric motor that delivers power on demand with ultralow CO2 emissions and more than 40 km of pure electric range.
