2021 Chevrolet Corvette Gets $1000 Price Increase Across All Trims
The mid-engine sports car now starts at $60,995, $1000 higher than 2020.
1. Chevrolet has confirmed that the 2021 Corvette will start $1000 higher, at $60,995.
2. It's still quite the bargain compared to competitors, but doesn't get any updates with the increase.
3. 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trim levels are all affected by this development, as are convertible variants.
The mid-engine C8 Corvette is just a little bit less of a bargain for 2021, as it receives a $1000 price hike across all trim levels. Starting at $60,995, the 2021 Corvette 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT are all affected, but Chevy hasn't commented on the reason for the increase. The C8 Corvette first launched for the 2020 model year starting at $59,995.
Price fluctuations are not uncommon in the auto industry, but usually arrive with new features or updates, both of which the 2021 Corvette isn't expected to obtain. The price increase also applies to convertible versions, as well as the 2LT and 3LT trim levels, which start at $68,295 and $72,945, respectively.
