After a full redesign just last year, the Silverado HD will add many features and increase in price. Starting with towing capacity, the HD can now tow 36,000 pounds rather than 35,500, towing is also made easier with the following features: A trailer length indicator to assist in lane changing, a jackknife alert that can notify the operator if a trailer could jackknife, and cargo-bed view enhancement, which makes it easier to hook up a fifth-wheel trailer are now available. In addition, 15 camera views assist the driver in ensuring their trailer won't be damaged.
