2021 Volkswagen Arteon Starts $1175 Higher, Gets Updated Styling
2021 brings freshened styling, interior and exterior, and a price hike.

VW is updating their flagship sedan, the Arteon, for 2021. Updates include interior and exterior styling changes, a price raise on various models, and trim level simplification. The Arteon is and will remain a sharp looking sedan, but as the market moves to SUVs and Crossovers, it may not last long.
Just one engine is available for the Arteon, a 268 horsepower 2.0 L turbocharged 4-cylinder comes on all models.
Trims and Pricing
Trim levels have been switched around for 2021, and are now much simpler. Trims available for 2021 will include SE, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium R-Line. Front wheel drive is standard on SE and SEL R-Line, but all wheel drive is available. Base SE models will start $1175 higher, now at $38,190. The top SEL Premium R-Line trim comes with standard 4-motion all wheel drive and starts $525 lower than outgoing models, now at $48,190. Sitting in the middle is the SEL R-Line which starts $1825 higher at $44,590.
2021 Arteons are expected to arrive in dealerships later this year.
