2022 JDM Nissan GT-R debuts with amazing Millennium Jade paint and bronze wheels

Not available in Europe unfortunately

This is the new JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Nissan GT-R, available as a Premium Edition T-spec and a Track Edition by NISMO T-spec. Both versions are scheduled to go on sale in October.

Both are equipped with new carbon ceramic brakes and a new carbon-fibre rear spoiler (the NISMO model is also fitted with a carbon roof and boot lid), along with a redesigned engine cover and dedicated badging. Production is limited to 100 units.

There are two new body colours - Midnight Purple and Millennium Jade - new bronze forged wheels created in partnership with Rays, and of course the cabin has been remastered as well.

Under the bonnet, you’ll find the same 600-hp 3.8 L twin-turbocharged VR38DETT V6 that powers the ‘standard’ Track and NISMO edition models but the springs have been redesigned and Nissan made it imperceptibly wider to increase handling.

The Premium Edition T-Spec starts from YEN 15,904,900 ($145k / £105k), while the top-of-the-line Track Edition by NISMO costs YEN 17,881,600 ($163k / £118). Rumour has it there’s a chance it’ll go on sale in the US (pricing TBA), but it won’t be available in Europe. Pity.

  • I wouldn't be spending £105k on a new GT-R I would either buy a used one or save up for something else
