2022 Mercedes-AMG SL Roadster leaked ahead of its official release
Do you think it looks good?
The 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL Roadster is set to be officially released later this year, but someone had leaked it at a private launch event months before we're meant to see it.
This image was posted to Instagram via an account named @CocheSpias and it shows a bright red SL Roadster on display at the event. We know this is the AMG variant because it is sitting on some very handsome black AMG wheels.
The photo itself isn't the best, but other features you should expect to see is Mercedes' iconic Panamericana grille at the front along with a new sleek headlight design. It will also get a fabric roof instead of a metal folding roof like previous models had.
Mercedes-AMG's new SL Roadster is said to be made of an all-new lightweight aluminium body and will be powered by Mercedes’ twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
