The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 was made to smash lap times, with a sub 7-minute trip around Nurburgring, making it faster than the Porsche 918. The rear mounted engine is a naturally aspirated, 4.0L boxer six-cylinder, producing 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. The car weighs 3,126 lbs with a manual transmission - you read correctly, it will indeed offer a manual transmission, or 3,164 lbs with 7-speed PDK.   • PDK in Sport+ mode and paddle-shifting manually is heaven. All the fun of manual, less calories! (Manual all my life, since I began driving in '74. So shush haters!). It is soooooooooooo smooth, and in Sport+ it is crisp up and down, in any situation. Like "buttah." I drive hilly tracks like Barber and Road Atlanta, so the auto cant "see" what's coming, but I can! I have a manual -- but in PDK form. And it's really fun!

  • ...note, I do think Jason has no business reviewing a car he has no skill to drive. Miss-shifting the PDK constantly is not a good idea, and he never pushed the car in any way. Who gave this guy the ride? Banal an insipid reviewers will not sell this car. Ewe. Fan boy.
