Toyota has introduced a rugged version of its popular Sienna minivan for 2022. Called the Woodland Special Edition, it benefits from an array of upgrades that range from a lift kit to exclusive exterior paint. When the outdoorsy minivan goes on sale this fall, the automaker says it will donate $250 to the National Environmental Education Foundation for each vehicle purchased, with a minimum donation of $250,000. Pricing for the Woodland has yet to be released.
Most notably, the Sienna Woodland Special Edition comes with all-wheel drive as standard, as well as a .6-inch lift that allows for a total of 6.9 inches of ground clearance. For reference, a 2021 Toyota Highlander has 8 inches of ground clearance. Also on board is a 1500W power outlet, a hitch that's capable of towing 3500 lbs, roof rails, 18-inch wheels, black badging, and an exclusive Cement exterior color. Inside the Woodland, additions include black sport trimmed seats with unique stitching, navigation, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system.
The 2022 Sienna Woodland Edition uses the same 2.5 L inline-four as the regular model, and its AWD system still features an electric motor at the rear axle. Pricing has yet to be unveiled, but the rugged Sienna will go on sale in fall 2021.
