Egidio Pisano races one of the most extreme versions of the of the Classic Volkswagen Golf Mk1 prepared by Minichberger. Powered by a 2.0L engine from a Audi Touring Car capable of 307Hp/9.500Rpm in Naturally Aspirated form, this Monster has also the advantage of weighing only around 700Kg.

Competing on the European Hillclimb Racing scene for over 20 years, this Golf Mk1 was previously powered by a 240Hp Spiess tuned 1.6L engine but a couple years ago, Mr. Pisano decided to take it up a notch

Fully tuned by Berg Cup specialists Minichberger and using the Touring Car engine derived from the ABF engine unit that powered Audi Sport units in the 90´s, the final result is one of the quickest and most effective 2000cc Class machines on the European Hills.
