3500HP Lamborghini Huracan Sets New Half Mile Top Speed World Record

During the recent Shift Sector Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack in Colorado, a new half mile top speed record was set. The car in question here is an 'Underground Racing' tuned Lamborghini Huracan which is pushing out almost 3500 HP from its newly reinforced motor. UGR are well known in the automotive world for coming up with some of the most wicked engine modifications for exotic cars. In signature UGR fashion, the Huracan is running a twin turbo charged system on its 5.2 litre V10 engine.
According to the driver, he struggled really hard to keep this car in a straight line before registering a top speed of 259.67 mph/ 420.4 km/h over a distance of half a mile. It seems the Huracan managed to achieve this incredible feat in just under 14 seconds! Turns out the Huracan managed to set a new world record while attempting this run. We cannot imagine the g-forces experienced while accelerating at such an insane rate!
