Observations From The Driver's Seat.
40 Cars in 40 Days: Shelby GT350Michael Prichinello posted in All Classics5y ago855 Award- The 5.2 liter flat plane crank engine is as odd as it is welcomed in a Mustang body. Aside from revving past 8,000rpm, the throttle response breathes better and is livelier than other American V8s. - The GT350 has 526 horses and that’s the perfect amount for this car. It has plenty of giddyap to be spirited on straights and in the corners, without too much power to overwhelm the chassis and compromise handling. - This Mustang is very un-Mustang. It likes to corner. It doesn’t get upset when you squeeze on the brakes. It puts the power down rather than spin up when you give it throttle. It’s much more Cadillac CTS-V than GT500.
