Clarkson, Hammond and May made us laugh over the years, falling over and over every week, sometimes they made us held our breaths when they were in dangerous situations or smile of joy in front of their achievements, sometimes thought they got us a bit emotional as well. So be ready for been kicked hard in the feels.

Patagonia- Clarkson and the Porsche 928

The Patagonia special is sadly famous for all the mess caused by Jeremy's Porsche number plate, however in this part of the film our beloved shaved ape in shirt shared with the viewers the reason why he like this particular Porsche.

Silverstone - 24 hours race

When in 2007 the trio found out they have some gallons to homemade diesel to burn, they decided to take part at this tough endurance race. Their BMW performed heroically despite all the mechanical issues, also thanks to a great mechanics team. As always they had a lot of troubles but they did an awesome teamwork and for once they were ambitious but not rubbish, managing to complete the race and don't qualify last. The last minute of the race are just epics.

The Hamster's return

In 2006 Richard Hammond's terrible crash with the dragster vampire shocked all the fans of the (inter)national Hamster and kept them worried about his health for weeks. Anyway after few months he rejoined his colleagues in the Top Gear studio, in a spectacular way, despite the fact he asked them to don't make a big fuss.

End of an Era

June 2015, the very last episode of Top Gear, the last, the end, don't argue about this, the end of an era signed by the presence of only Hammond and May and of an elephant (literally) in the room, no "On that bombshell" or "Thank you e goodnight", no "see you next week", just a "thanks for watching and well...goodbye", definitive at the time, because we didn't know what would happen next...

The Boys are back in town

Finally the trio were back and they did it with style, the Grand Tour intro is indeed great, Clarkson flying to America after had left the BBC headquarters, the mustang running across the desert and the song amazingly performed by the Hothouse Flowers growing in a crescendo as Hammond and May cars aligned with Jeremy's one, was such a prefect way to celebrate the boys return, for not mention the epic run through the desert surrounded by all those fantastic vehicles. They were back, the story goes on...

  • Did anyone else get emotional, during that opening to the first grand tour episode. When I watched it for the first time. To me, it was like a big part of my childhood coming back to life.

  • Honestly, I never thought Hammond and May could make anyone sad. They just proved us wrong on the last episode of Top Gear.

  • yeah fully agree with the propositions, and the one who touch me more than the other, is the one with Clarkson and the Porsche 928. Anyway, can do a top 5 of the most hilarious moment of Top Gear? For me in 1st place, is the caravan challenge, when Clarkson is on the highway and his Japanese loft style make is car shaking more than a shaker... each time a watch that episode i'm out of tears of laughing

  • I have to agree, these are all tear jerkers. To add, during the endurance race Richard radios in during the night i do believe and says he’s binned it and thinks it’s all over and keeps apologizing. That was heart breaking!
