5 GTA V Cars That I Feel Are Underrated (Part 2)
1. Declasse Mamba (Shelby Cobra)
Who doesn't love or at least like the Cobra? In-game the Mamba is powered by a V8, giving it a very high top speed. However, this also means less traction and affects the Mamba's braking. It is a fragile car, as it can only take a few collisions before the performance becomes affected, but why would someone want to smash a classic? The Mamba is only available on the in-game website, for $995,000. Sure it may be a hefty price but once you get a Mamba into your garage you'll see why it costs that much.
2. Vulcar Nebula Turbo (Volvo 242 Turbo)
The Nebula Turbo is a Volvo, and one of the few Swedish cars in-game. It can be pretty underperforming with it's horrible traction, launch with a lot of wheelspin, average acceleration, and top speed, but the Nebula Turbo makes up for that by being a great drift car and being pretty durable. The Nebula Turbo is available on the in-game website for $797,000. Sure, it is pretty expensive, but it's a Volvo!
3. Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire (Dodge Demon)
Wow, I have no idea why players aren't using this car a lot. Based off of the Demon, as expected it has great acceleration, average braking, and a pretty good top speed. At a lower speed the Demon handles very well, but at higher speeds the handling becomes more average for its class. It is also easy to spin out when taking sharp turns. The Hellfire also has very good durability, especially when fitted with a bullbar. Yep, a bullbar. And it looks badass with it. The Hellfire can only be purchased using the in-game website for $745,000 (That's less than the Nebula Turbo).
4. Progen GP1 (Mclaren F1)
It's a crime that so few people are driving this legendary car around the world of GTA Online! This is the street version of the Tyrus (McLaren F1 GTR), and it has the same engine sound as the Tyrus. Like the real F1, it has incredible handling, quick acceleration, and a high top speed. It is less capable than the Tyrus though, but I like the GP1 more personally. For $1.26 million on the in-game website, you can get your hands on one of these beauties!
5. Karin Sultan/Sultan RS (Lexus IS)
Above in the picture is the RS version. Isn't she beautiful? Sure, not everyone likes JDM, but give the Sultan a try! It is my favorite sedan so far in GTA. It is 4WD, making it pretty grippy and surprisingly a good choice for offroading. It is the fastest sedan, and can outrun most sports cars and some supercars (That's why the Sultan is my favorite sedan in-game)! Unfortunately, because of it's high performance the Sultan has below average durability and can get easily deformed at low speed collisions. If you want an even faster version, upgrade it to the Sultan RS! It has an amazing price for such a good car at $12,000 on the in-game website, or you can steal one off the streets. Upgrading to the Sultan RS is quite pricey though. You have to go to Benny's Customs and convert the Sultan for $795,000. But for a sedan that fast? I think it is definitely worth your time and money.
