5 Reasons Why You Should Watch The 24s Trussers Gaming Stream

With 24s only 9 Days away, I thought it'd be a good idea to go over the reasons why you should watch the "other" streamer during this year's 24s!

Here are 5 great reasons why you should pop over to the "Trussers Gaming" YouTube Channel on the 23rd - 24th February to watch his stream of the 24s 2019 on Euro Truck Simulator 2

5. An Interesting Insight

Watching the stream, you will get an incredibly interesting and unique experience - the experience of watching someone take part in a massive 24 hour convoy for the first time. This will be both his first "convoy" he's have ever taken part in, and first ever online event which has taken him longer than 2 hours... In the stream, you'll see: the joining process, Robin setting off, city tours, a massive line of trucks, and everything in between! I 100% guarantee to you that it will be a laugh and a half!

4. It's Live!

Being live anything can happen! Anything he says or do will be live as it happens, this may give a rare insight into his thinking process and my true personality....but could also lead to some "interesting" moments too, such as he may need the toilet 5 minutes into a route, or saying something a little controversial...so, to ensure you aren't missing out on this absolute "bantersarous" of a stream, come join Robin from 9.30am on the 23rd of February on the "Trussers Gaming" YouTube Channel to witness something truly immense...

Nowhere, except on Smokey's Stream (founder and boss of the event) will you see something quite like this!

How To Watch/Join

1. Watch: Trussers Gaming Stream (Stream Starts 1hr 30mins before start of 24s), use the link above this, or search "Trussers Gaming" into YouTube.

There will be other streams available so, pick and choose as you wish.

2. Join: Ensure you have "TruckersMP" as well as Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer, If both are installed, Ensure you are in the Helsinki Container Port or in close vicinity of it and when the server goes up, click on the server name (should be called "24s 2019" or something like this) and drive to the port, the convoy will start at 11am, so ensure you've had a good rest beforehand and are in a fit state to drive, any controller input is acceptable and a trailer would be handy too, and don't leave driving to Helsinki too late!

So, If nobody else will join....why won't you? Being an incredibly small channel, YouTube algorithms push his channel down, so it's highly likely that I will be alone for the most part....don't let this be the case!

3. Anything Can Happen In 24 Hours

Being such a long event you can kind of see the "evolution" of Robin; From the pumped up kid at the start point..raring to go, allll the way to hour 23 as he slowly disintegrates throughout the night, before thinking "Oh thank the heavens it's over" as he drives back into the container port of Helsinki.

2. The Views

Will and Snowball Media have spent an unimaginable amount of time...in fact a scarily-tedious amount of time...(almost a year!) fine-tuning the 24s route so that it includes significant places of interest, history and beauty....If you Watch the Trussers Gaming Stream of 24S 2019, it will be a simply staggering journey and include absolutely tons and tons, of WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW"s

1. It's for an absolutely amazing cause.

24s is a 24 hour Truck Convoy on Euro Truck Simulator 2. Partnered with the TASC (The Ambulance Staff Charity) who support ambulance drivers, paramedics, mechanics and staff, in times of need. With hundreds of peoples' lives on your hands day after day, when things go wrong, things can get very bad.

T.A.S.C assists with helping these unsung heroes without capes with:

- rehabilitation whilst recovering from illness or injury

- Mental Health and Bereavement Support; - debt and welfare advice (e.g: financial grants)

- as well as other forms of support

At the end of the day, (No pun intended) although Robin is driving, it's not all about him and nor is it about the the wicked team at SBM (Snowball Media) who created this event:

It's about those who risk their lives in order to save the lives of others: young or old, abled or disabled, black or white, male or female or in-between, guilty or innocent - they do everything in their power to keep patience alive, no matter who their patients are...

Could you even begin to process seeing horrific sights only imaginable in movies - bodies split in half two, Paper-pale Children screaming whilst blood stains their clothes....as blood comes from a horrifying injury.

Day after day hour after hour moment after moment these men and woman have to see people die in front of their very own eyes...

This is what the the ambulance staff have to deal with, and once they leave a scene there is no celebration, there is no congratulating, there is no "fist pump" or hugging, it's immediately on to the next scene to do it all over again. They have to mentally and physically forget everything that happened on the previous job, and totally focus on the next.

An infant could have been killed, a kind old gentleman who made them tea could have passed away, A young boy could have been diagnosed a terminal illness, lives not only of the person/people directly involved, but families, relatives and friends lives be drastically changed forever also and with the knowledge in the paramedics mind that nothing will ever be the same again.

All forgotten, all moved on, all onto the next job.

Here is a poem called "Silence" that I wrote.

SILENCE

Silence.

A Smashed bottle of wine spilled across a destroyed luxurious cream leather interior.

Spilled like the blood of the lifeless body slumped over the wheel…

A smashed phone lies in the foot well, a final text of love, and well-being “I'm 5 mins awa"

An unfinished text, an unfinished life….

Smoke Smoulders and Steam rises from the remains of a wrecked car,

A toddler of only a couple of years still strapped in his child-seat…

hanging upside down like a Pig in an abattoir..

.his palm of his hand open....waiting for someone to hold the sweet, innocent child's hand..crushed by a hunk of twisted

his tablet still playing the cartoon that the boy once watched…

Hopes, dreams and a long and successful future obliterated in seconds...just like the young, loving mother who decided to have one small drink...or send that one last text....

She wouldn't dare let anything bad to happen to her little baby, her precious son....

But She Did.

Though there should be sound coming from the Child’s destroyed device…none is emitted…

Where there is death there is silence and where there is silence there is death.

A life has been lost, and another taken.

A friend, wife and mother. No More.

Loved ones rush to the scene but not a single soul is to be seen...the presence of death forces them away like a force field...

The Fire, Ambulance and Police services arrive but only hearses leave…

A birthday is meant to be a time of celebration and happiness…especially at an age so young, he would have blasted into double digits what a great life that would've been.

Had he not been killed in a car accident.

Had the Ambulance had turned up a moment before

If only The Emergency Services weren’t on call with someone who’d spilt their cereal. ..

Day after day, hour after hour, moment after moment people continue to abuse and harass them...but despite this, they have to ignore the comments and abuse and stay focused on the task at hand, trying to save as many people as possible...what's so wrong in that?

How many lives does this have to affect before regret sinks in? How many innocent lives must be taken before we put down that phone, decline that bottle, catch a taxi, slow down for that corner, see that pedestrian...Too Many.

The Silence Is Broken.

A Scream Of Tyres, A Screech of death.

Another Lost. Another Taken, Another Stat.

Thank You.
