The chances of one of us owning a brand new supercar are pretty slim. Simply down to percentages, having over £100,000 cash to splash out on a car is top one percent stuff, leaving the rest of us to trawl through the likes of eBay and Gumtree.

There are loopholes however, including finding your great grandfather's gold stash buried under the shed in the back garden, searching for a finance deal that's too good to be true, or signing up with the guys from BOTB.

BOTB has been running car competitions since 1999 and has given away over £25 million of prizes so far. Every week there is a guaranteed Dream Car winner - there have been more than 450 so far! Win a Car in our elite competitions from just £0.85p.

Choose from over 150 dream cars to win from as little as 85p. There’s a guaranteed winner every week with over £25 million of prizes won since BOTB’s beginning back in 1999. In order to enter, you select tickets for the car you’d like to win, play spot the ball to enter, and the person with the closest coordinates to the centre of the ball will win the car they’ve played for – it’s as simple as that! In addition to winning the car, you could also win a boot stuffed with £20,000 worth of cash to add those all-important extras and they even pay for the first year’s insurance!

We've taken a look over the list of supercars that they have on their rostrum, and here's the ones we'd personally go for.

McLaren 540C – £6.40

It may be the baby of the McLaren range but don't be fooled – the entry-level Sports Series car will still do 199mph. A 533bhp, rear-wheel drive British supercar for £6.40... count me in.

Aston Martin DB11 V8 – £7.00

The V12 may be absent from this stunning Aston but the drivability is suddenly upped thanks to the AMG-derived turbocharged V8.

There can't be a much better way of blasting through an entire country in a day than this grand tourer.

Audi R8 V10 – £5.95

The R8 (along with the Lamborghini Huracan) is one of the last great bastions of the naturally aspirated V10 engine, and aren't we glad it still exists in this world full of turbocharging and hybridisation.

The mid-engined, all-wheel drive setup makes it one of the most capable backroad cars out there and it's probably the quickest point-to-point car that BOTB has up for grabs.

Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale – £5.20

The Gran Turismo is in desperate need of a refresh, one which will hopefully be coming soon from the iconic Italian brand. Besides that, the hardcore MC Stradale is still a hugely desirable beast with all its carbon fibre bits and thunderous old-school V8.

Mercedes-AMG GT – £4.70

AMG's supercar has been penned with proportions that most other manufacturers would die for, with its elongated bonnet and its cabin parked beautifully onto the rear axle.

For less than a fiver per ticket, it's hard to argue against having a pop at grabbing one of these Affalterbach beauties.
