'67 Beetle is restored after 50 years of daily driving

... and I've run out of tissues

Most cars last ten years - let alone 50. Imagine Kathleen Brooks' reaction when she was told that her adored "Annie", a 1967 VW Beetle, would be given a new lease of life, thanks to a gifted restoration. When restored, the Californian built "Annie" had been driven over 350,000 miles by Annie herself.

We all have a connection to our cars, no matter how old or worn down. How would you react if you could have yours restored to original condition?
