Generally, cars would last for about 5-10 years before they are replaced by the new models. But then, there are ones that kept going for many more years, some even decades. Of course, there would be some improvements, some mild evolution, but it is still the same model – same basic design.

Hey guys I’m Stype, and this is a list of the cars with the longest production runs… EVER!

  • I love LADA Niva and if I could drive a manual I would already have one. However, did you know that it is not the only Soviet-Russian car still in production? This the Bukhanka (loaf of bread in Russian) manufactured by UAZ since 1965. 56 years old and still going strong! There are no plans to retire this model, because there is still enough demand. How come I did not see it on the list?

    • Their names have been in production since then. The cars changed so much that they are not the same, so they don't get to be on this list.
