As there are more people getting their licenses they want cars that are fun and affordable. Here is a list of cars you can buy for less than $20,000

These would make a great first or hundredth car for someone who wants to have fun and not break the bank.
1. 2010 Jaguar XK-Series Coupe $14,500
The model for sale has a 6 speed automatic transmission behind a V8. It is one of the pretty looking sports cars on the market. Plus, it is a Jaaaaag! For a sub-$15k price-tag, thus can't be beat. Check it out in the link: www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=usedPaidSearchNoZip&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=BODYSTYLE&bodyTypeGroup=bg0&zip=08109&distance=200&startYear=&endYear=&minPrice=0&maxPrice=20000&maxMileage=&transmission=ANY&searchChanged=true&modelChanged=undefined&filtersModified=true#listing=240866515
2. 2015 BMW 2-series 228i xDrive $16,385
A newer model BMW that is a coupe with a peppy 4 cylinder, the 228i xDrive is a classy sports car with fun in its name. 4. 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera $19,999
A 911 for the Porsche enthusiast. Sure, it is on the higher end side of the price scale, but it is a 911. The ultimate sports car of the time. Low-mileage and backed by a 6 speed manual. A near perfect find. Sure, it is a bit older too. Here is the link: www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=usedPaidSearchNoZip&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=BODYSTYLE&bodyTypeGroup=bg0&zip=08109&distance=200&startYear=&endYear=&minPrice=0&maxPrice=20000&maxMileage=&transmission=ANY&searchChanged=true&modelChanged=undefined&filtersModified=true#listing=221223123
5. Scion tC $8,777
I know the tC is not the most popular car to date. But it offers styling and enough performance to have some kind of fun. Plus the fuel economy is probably the best one on the list so far. Here is the link: www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=usedPaidSearchNoZip&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=BODYSTYLE&bodyTypeGroup=bg0&zip=08109&distance=200&startYear=&endYear=&minPrice=0&maxPrice=20000&maxMileage=&transmission=ANY&searchChanged=true&modelChanged=undefined&filtersModified=true#listing=235832258
6. 2001 Pontiac Firebird Tran Am $8,965
A sports car with an LS1 V8, performance all around, T-tops, and pop-up headlights, the Pontiac Frebird Trans Am is sure to please. Priced under $10k is not as bad as some cars may be priced but it is not the best. The only thing that has this one going is that it is almost at 73,000 miles on the clock. Sadly, it has the automatic transmission. 7. 2005 Chevrolet Corvette $19,995
A C6 Corvette fetching for under $20,000 is not a rarity these days. With the famed LS engine and sports car performance, the C6 was loved by many. Sadly, the model for sale has an automatic transmission. 8. 2004 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro $5,995
The fun TT Quattro was revered by many back in the day. Sure to offer some fun and thrills, I do not think this will disappoint. Priced quite reasonably, the TT for sale has less than 100k on the clock and a manual transmission. Here is the link: www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=usedPaidSearchNoZip&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=BODYSTYLE&bodyTypeGroup=bg0&zip=08109&distance=200&startYear=&endYear=&minPrice=0&maxPrice=20000&maxMileage=&transmission=ANY&searchChanged=true&modelChanged=undefined&filtersModified=true#listing=238220673

I’ve been looking at a 99/00 911 recently. It just seems like too good a deal to pass up
Isn't it? Lol.
My favorites were the 911, Trans Am, and Audi. Not a bad list. 🍻👍🏼
Thanks!
I currently own a 15 Scion Tc, it's a good car, it can be quick in some circumstances, it's a pretty good all-rounder with its hatchback and DCT. Really I just got it because it was cheap at the time, but it has really grown on me.
