You've been asking for it so we've built it – the DriveTribe Garage is here! We've just launched a cool new feature that lets you share your current, former and dream rides. It's a great way to let other people know what cars you're in to, and show off your pride and joy.

Even if you don't own something, upload your dream vehicle to show others what you're aspiring towards, and browse others users' collections. To upload something, you just have to head to your profile.

The response has been huge, with thousands of vehicles already uploaded, so we've jumped in to pick out a few of our favourite cars owned by the DriveTribe community. It's an eclectic bunch, that's for sure!

1990 Mosler Consulier GTP-LX owned by Matt Cunningham

I'm not going to lie, I'd never heard of this car before seeing it in Matt's garage. However, I'm in love based on looks alone.

This is no show queen, though. The Consulier, which was built between 1985 and 1993, was hugely successful in sports car racing. It has the engine in the middle, with both inline-fours and V8s offered.

1989 Volkswagen Golf GTi Cabrio owned by Pablo Alvarez Gutierrez

The Volkswagen Golf GTI is an automotive legend, and rightly goes down as one of the greatest enthusiast cars ever made. It kick-started the hot hatch genre, which alone makes it worthy of high praise.

It's great to see Pablo doesn't baby his classic cabriolet model. With modern cars generally featuring super-stiff suspension *because race car*, it's refreshing to see the lean on display here!

2005 Smart Roadster owned by J VDV

The Smart Fortwo was well ahead of its time when it was released in 1998, packing practicality into a tiny, city-friendly package.

However, while it's far from an enthusiast car, the Roadster that spawned from it offered a quirky alternative to established brands' offerings. Its 698cc three-cylinder engine's performance was hardly neck-snapping, but its sprightly character won it many fans.

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray owned by Dexter Bowles

Words are hardly needed here – this Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is effortlessly cool. Owned by Dexter Bowles, he says it has a 427 big block, full matching numbers, and is almost fully restored to factory spec, apart from the aftermarket side pipes and radio.

Just looking at the photo you can hear that big, rumbling V8, can't you?

1969 Citroen DS 21 IE Pallas owned by Samuel Lino

Say what you want about the reliability of French cars, but boy have they made some beauties in their time. Perhaps top of the class is the gorgeous DS, and Samuel Lino is the lucky owner of one that looks glorious in brown. Or is that a more classy bronze?

2011 Volkswagen Passat R36 owned by Sam Vance

At first glance, a Volkswagen Passat estate might seem an odd choice for a highlights reel, but this isn't any old estate – this is an R36. That means it gets a bigger version of the much-loved and mighty tuneable V6 engine from the Golf R32.

With 296bhp and four-wheel drive, it's also pretty brisk, hitting 62mph in under six seconds. Not bad for a big wagon that weighs nearly 1.8 tonnes.

1968 Hillman Imp Husky owned by Matthew Henson

This cool classic has an eye-catching paint job and and has been given a lot of love and attention. The Husky is the estate version of the Hillman Imp and gets a 42bhp engine. Some other features include a sliding side window, and a spartan interior as standard that had no glove box and no temperature controls!

1973 Volvo P1800

Depending on your age, you'll think of Volvo as building incredibly pretty, curvaceous cars, or boxy, super-safe wagons. The 1800 sits between these two images, and wears its 70s-brown paint well.

Owner Daniel Backman says his car was "one of the last-built Volvo 1800ES cars, before the product was discontinued."

1998 JCB 8015 Excavator owned by Martyn Stanley

And now for something completely different! Here's an excavator, which is arguably the coolest thing in this list...

Here's what owner Martyn says of his awesome machinery: "I bought this with my father-in-law to build the house. It's a really useful tool, but I doubt I'll use it for my daily commute! Saves digging!"
