The way that Snijers has the M3 by the scruff of the neck on the fast and unforgiving lanes of the Manx is brilliant to watch. There will be a full feature from Prodrive in the coming weeks (not just on this car) but for now I thought it was a good excuse to post this video.
A brilliant drive by Snijers no question, but Jimmy McRae had no reason to chase after him, he had a championship to secure. Mark Lovell however, had no title considerations, he just wanted to win the rally. He was bang on the pace before engine problems halted his charge - would have been fascinating to see Snijers and Lovell battling it out for the win.
