A bargain entry to Lambo ownership that's NOT a kit Replica!
Anyone who has ever sniffed petrol and smiled... Would like a Lamborghini.
Nothing screams, 'I AM A PETROLHEAD!', like owning a barely driveable monster which you can't steer or see out of, but that looks amazing in posters on bedroom walls.
The trouble is, Lamborghinis are expensive. You can't even get a rubbish one for less than £50k+! You can probably get a Gallardo for less than one of the pretty shocking old Uraccos or Jalpas.
There ARE kits, available to make some dull shopping-trolley come rep-mobile look like the Italian legend. However the comments on my last replica post suggested people didn't find the idea appealing:-

Now before you turn your nose up at it, slow down. This is GENUINE classic Lamborghini, fully restored and on sale for less than a Dacia Duster! It's also probably better off-road than that stupid Lamborghini Urus thingie they've come up with to try and sneak into the SUV market with the Maccan and the F-pace:-

Okay, I appreciate the open cockpit isn't to everyone's taste. And the 3 cylinder diesel engine with 39 hp isn't really going to offer as much performance as you'd like...

The thing is though, this is a Lamborghini that COULD appreciate! It'll also be pretty simple to work on. Surely it'll be easier to mend than a crusty old Countach and you could probably get 10 of these for the price of ONE Countach!

I accept it maybe isn't the ideal vehicle for your daily, but let's be honest - who could live with a Murcialago or a Diablo as their daily? It'd take a bit of getting used to, to drive, I'm sure. But you WOULD draw people's attention! You don't buy a Lamborghini to be anonymous and driving THIS to work you will definitely turn heads.

I know the 39 hp 3 cylinder diesel isn't the mighty V12 you'd really like, but think about it this way - there are 9 less cylinders to worry about! There's no ECU or complex electrickery to go wrong, no dodgy Italian wiring to fail...
Your grandad could fix this!
So I say DO IT! Go grab yourself a bargain and become the envy of your mates. Become a Lambo owner! Just don't agree to show any of them which model you bought.
Oh and good luck getting into the Lamborghini Owner's Club, I can't see you being too welcome at their next 'Coffee and Cars' meet!

i'd prefer anything to a SUV to be honest. the tractor serves a purpose, once upon a time it was very good at a certain thing, SUVs aren't good at anything.
