These are the most exotic cars that we've seen from the aftermath of the hurricane

Less than a week after Hurricane Harvey finished its brutal assault on Houston, local residents and the authorities are now beginning to assess the damage and start rebuilding. At least 46 people have died, more than 30,000 houses are flooded and as many as a million vehicles have been waterlogged as a result of the horrendous flood.

Among those ill-fated cars lies a group of exotics that sadly couldn't escape the water line. In this footage below, you can see a Ferrari 458 Speciale and 488 GTB headlight-deep in murky floodwater. On top of that, the property owner also seems to be a Mercedes fan, seeing as a CLA and G63 are also completely waterlogged.

Whether insurance will pay up for such catastrophic damage will be down to a difficult phone conversation. But in the grand scheme of things, a couple of supercars are a grain of sand compared to the enormity of the devastation left by Harvey. We wish all the best for the city's recovery and that the car community in Houston will be back on the roads in the near future.
