A Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta build slot is selling for £350k over sticker..

Anyone have a spare $1.16 million lying around?

Earlier this year Ferrari launched the topless version of the 812 Competizione named the Aperta and it is essentially a hardcore, track-focussed variant of the 812 but with no roof. It starts at £499,000 but someone on Instagram is trying to sell theirs for £350,000 over sticker.

The account goes by the name of AmcarsFrance and they are trying to sell their 812 Competizione build slot for a staggering €1million (£850,000). We know the car market has gone a bit mental really, but this sort of flip is remarkably expensive.

Sure, it's limited to just 599 examples, but that price still seems a little steep, no?

The 812 Competizione is a more track-focussed variant of the 812 Superfast and it's powered by a 6.5-litre, naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 830 hp and 510 lb-ft, with a redline at 9500 rpm.

Would you pay that much over sticker?

  • They are just throwing excrement at the wall to see if it sticks. As we saw earlier this month some nut paid over 100k for an old rusty Ford pickup. So a billionaire that likes yellow may start a new benchmark by buying it. 🤔
