A Ferrari F12tdf is the latest victim to a viscous fire that left the car to little more than some smoldering debris attached to the road. These issues are known to happen, more so in supercars due to the high performance and strain on the parts.
The incident happened on the German autobahn between Diedorf Nuewied when the occupants reportedly heard a loud bang before seeing massive flames spouting from the engine bay. Luckily they were able to pull over to the side of the road but unfortunately had to watch the car burn to the ground.
Investigators managed to come to the conclusion that an engine issue was the cause of the fire. What the actual cause in the engine bay is yet to be determined, but hopefully it isn't due to a wide spread issue and only a one off incident.
