About a year ago, Aston Martin inaugurated its AMR - Aston Martin Racing sports division in Geneva - divided into two sub-categories: the AMR on the one hand, and the even more radical AMR Pro on the other. The English manufacturer had for the occasion prepared two concepts which he proudly presented to the public, the Vantage AMR Pro and the Fast AMR.

Today, the time has come to discover the first spy images of the Rapide AMR series, which we see here the onslaught of Nürburgring. It is not surprising to find it on this iconic route, as the premises of Aston Martin Racing are located on the edge of the German circuit.

In terms of look, the Rapide AMR will naturally show the muscles with essentially generously sized wheels, redesigned shields, side skirts and a rear diffuser. Small touches of light green will also be on the program. On this prototype, some details still have to evolve (the exhaust outlets in particular). As for the interior, it will also receive a sportier treatment made of carbon inserts and alcantara trim.

The hood will house a 6.0 liter V12 air. On the concept, this block delivered 600 hp and allowed the Rapide to reach 338 km / h at maximum speed. The official presentation should be made this year and the first deliveries will follow in the wake. The distribution of this promising British sedan will be limited to 210 copies.
