Bradford based Kahn Design is an engineering company that prides itself on vehicle customisation through exquisite design. Over twenty years ago British designer Afzal Kahn abandoned his studies in architecture to pursue his love of cars and subsequently thought-up the idea for an alloy wheel like no other; the RS-R alloy comprised of spokes that appeared to extend all the way to the alloy. With the idea in mind Afzal travelled to Italy where an order was placed for 1000 alloys to be manufactured. An ad in Top Car and Autotrader saw the unprecedented alloys sold before Afzal had even returned to the UK… and A. Kahn Design was born. Today the company boasts a Bradford headquarter, the ‘dream factory’, alongside a boutique in London. Large teams of designers and engineers with years of knowledge and experience are able to turn dreams into reality with state-of-the-art equipment and manufacturing techniques. Kahn design is at the forefront of the British automotive and design industry.

The purpose of Kahn Design was to introduce a whole new level of design to the automotive industry; by means of reengineering and altering vehicle aesthetics, the company is able to produce visually appealing vehicles. Though the customised cars are visually elegant, the company also focuses on ergonomics; the feel of the vehicle is important, a petrol-head shall have a unique bond with their vehicle and so the Kahn Company makes refinement a priority. With quilted and perforated leather seats and other extras such as LED lighting, the customer can genuinely feel the lifestyle that is expressed by the Kahn Company.

The Kahn Design company consist of, but is not limited to, 2 brands which include; Project Kahn and the Chelsea Truck Company.
