A LaLD Diecast Wishlist
Because desperate times call for desperate measures.
Note: I've been sitting on this post for a week now. First on a text editor on my PC and then in the drafts section. But here goes anyways. Apologies if this seems out of place on LaLD
Thanks to diecast release drought in India in the last year, some of us have been using websites based in Far East Asia to scratch our Hot Wheels itch. While this is cheaper than eBay, the catch here though is that most of the sought after candy is available only on pre-order. Therefore there is a risk of orders getting canceled (albeit because of demand and not for shitty reasons like Amazon).
That's the reason for a wishlist post like this. And I'm weeping tears of blood looking at the eBay rates. So I was hoping to get one of you good souls on LaLD can pick some of these off the pegs and send it to California for me when there is enough to fill a box. Obviously I will pay within 24 hours via Paypal.
- The Ford Race Team set - I am more interested in the cars and that van
- The Porsche 962 set - Mostly interested in the #8 Valvoline, so willing to split
- The iD Tesla Cyber Truck - I never got on the iD hype wagon, but I have a kid cousin who's a car design geek. He, like me, has never seen a Tesla IRL, but has brought into the hype!
- The Boulevard Mercedes CLK GTR. No explanation needed, except that I WANT IT! This hasnt showed up anywhere in my usual sites yet, but this is the one and I want multiples!
P.S: I might add more to this list, but in case someone thinks that this is out of place here on LALD, I'll gladly take this post off!

This isn't out of place, in fact OG LALDers will remember the corner stone of our community was just this. Looking out for and helping each other is what made this group what it is. Either through trades or random acts of kindness. I feel like this is especially what was lost when we left Kinja. do you feel me?
I do. I considered running Secret $uper this year, and starting up the HWEP a couple months ago, but I’m worried about crazy shipping costs right now. I don’t think that’s going to change though…. Maybe I’ll make this a New Years resolution 😎
