- original Kodachrome slide photography by William Hinson, my dad. I feel certain that he made a point of making the car too big for the frame.

I have a treasure trove of Kodachrome slides that my late father took in Mid-Century America. I'm trying to be a good steward of them and preserve them with as much information about them as I can. Dad gave me a great start by recording the dates, places, and names to go with the faces on the tiny cardboard frames of each slide. There are enough car enthusiasts among my friends, family, and all the strangers I rope into looking at the slides, that I thought it would be nice if I could record the details of some of the cars he photographed. For example, I think my cousin would be over the moon if the community could help me suss out the year, model, etc, of HIS mom and dad's fabulous car, pictured above. If this goes well, I have a bunch more I can post that we can play 'Name That Car' with. Many thanks in advance!
