A Lunch with Mika Häkkinen and Zak Brown is up for grabs on Bring A Trailer
The no reserve charity auction offers its winner a unique experience at the inaugural Velocity Invitational, Nov. 12-14
The team at Velocity Invitational have organized a seven-day auction on Bring A Trailer, the number one digital auction platform and car enthusiast community. The auction winner will receive two tickets to the event as well as the opportunity for lunch with Zak Brown, McLaren Racing’s Chief Executive and two-time Formula 1 champion Mika Häkkinen. Proceeds from the auction, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will go to benefit Arrow McLaren SP’s partner charity, Disabled American Veterans, whose purpose is the empowerment of veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity through advocacy and education.
Velocity Invitational, formerly the Sonoma Speed Festival, is a food, wine and automotive festival that will feature over 250 elite & historic cars, unique vehicle demos and new car displays, vehicles from notable museums and private collections, and much more!
Vintage race cars in nine race groups will meet in wheel-to-wheel competition at the iconic Laguna Seca Raceway, with a special group of historic McLaren Formula 1 and Indy cars set to challenge the Corkscrew. Among them is the 1998 MP4/13A (chassis number 02), a V10-powered Formula 1 car driven by David Coulthard and Mika Häkkinen. It’s the same car that Häkkinen drove to victory at the Australian GP.

In addition to the track action, guests will be able to experience historic and cultural exhibits featuring vehicles from notable museums and private collections. The region’s cuisine, wine, beer, and coffee will be highlighted as well, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore the area’s culinary and car cultures in a unique environment.
