A message from Cody Walker: there's a special car gathering in LA this Saturday
Woke up in London this morning to get an overnight message from our friend and fellow petrolhead Cody Walker in LA, who is gearing himself up for this Saturday’s Fuelfest, at the Anaheim Stadium.
Gun your engines and get down to the Anaheim Stadium this weekend
Cody, brother to the late Paul Walker, star of the Fast and Furious franchise, dreamt up the concept of Fuelfest as a way to fuse “art, cars and music”.
Saturday’s event is the first in a series of Fuelfest experiences, looking to extend to other major cities around the world, bringing a piece of car culture and music to automotive communities across the globe.
Given Cody’s connections, expect to see a star-studded list of vehicles from the Fast & Furious movies, along with a supporting cast of Exotics, Imports, Classics, Off-roaders and Euro machines.
Aside from cars, the event also features special appearances from Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson and YouTube and social media influencer Supercar Blondie. If you’re quick, you can even upgrade to a VIP ticket, to walk the red carpet, meet and greet the celebrities, as well as enjoy food, drinks and a special swag bag.
Check out Cody’s video message to find out more or visit the web site to buy tickets. For those who want to get “event interactive” there are options to register your car in advance to become part of the display attraction. You can also take part in a timed Autocross competition, where drivers navigate one at a time through a series of cones designed to test driving control.
