A Pagani Takeover! pt 1
An in depth look at one of the several Pagani's that put all to shame at an Italian car event
On June 24th 2018 I attended the yearly Concorso Ferrari and Friends event in West Hartford, Connecticut for the third time, which is a charity event for a local childrens hospital. There is always a "parade" of Italian cars from Alfa Romeo and Maserati to Lamborghini and Ferrari that drive to the hospital take pictures with the kids and then drive the kids back to the event ground in the cars. In my first two years going only one Pagani had ever shown up and until last week it was the only one I had ever seen in the flesh. (it was the one on the far end of the cover photo to this artcile). Usually though there has always been lots of amazing Lamborghini's and Ferrari's that have shown up including a yellow LaFerrari every year. This year everything changed, the LaFerrari or in this case LaFerrari's and Aventadors were put to shame as Horacio Pagani himself turned up with a fleet of 6 Pagani Huayra's! For once I found myself hardly looking at the Aventador SV parked between these beauties! Picutres do not do these cars a full justice with just how stunningly beautiful they are inside and out!
For now though we look at just one of these magnificent cars (more parts to this series to come) and perhaps the most special one of them all:
The Pagani Huayra Cento!
According to Paganihistory.com, the Pagani Huayra Cento was the last of the origional 100 Pagani Huayra's ever produced and therefore gets its name Cento meaning 100 in italian. It is currently in the hands of the own in Greenwich Connecticut making this a fairly local car. Horacio himelf however, was the one that drove this car in the parade! (picture of that above). Stay tuned for more parts to come in this series as we go through each of the six Pagani's that showed up to this wonderful event that raised over $150,000 for a local childrens hospital!

Great article David! Looking forward to more!
Thanks, glad you liked it! 😄
You're most welcome! I definitely did 😃
Man that’s one good looking car 😍
It really is! Something drop dead gorgeous!
It’s so different to it’s rivals too!
That's so cool and even better that they raised so much money for the charity event. Very lucky to see 6 Paganis at once. 👍
Indeed it was, the cars in between them weren’t bad either 😄
Yes but overshadowed by the beasts
not bad but I would have loved it more when you used the horizontal format ( looks mainly better..), was your camera so little?? Anyway, I am reposting it like always.. :)
Yea horizontal looks a lot better. I was using my phone camera which a naturally tend to use vertically. I think I have more horizontal pictures to come though!
