A peek at the future of BMW
The future for BMW hybrid supercars is looking very good indeed!
Klaus Frolich is a name you may not have heard of before. He is the board member at BMW in charge of product development and at the 2018 Paris Motor show he strongly hinted that an all new supercar was on its way.
Klaus Frolich - BMW“I’m working very hard to make it happen.”
Frolich went on to talk about how he plans to use the chassis of the well loved i8, however it will be much lighter and will house close to 600bhp whilst using a four or six cylinder engine to power the back wheels.
In discussion Frolich compared this new BMW supercar to the likes of the Lamborghini Huracan and the Audi R8 but maintained that this new BMW would be a big step up in power.
What do you think? Would you by one?

This can only be good.
BMW doesn't have the balls for this to be an actual future of it. Look at the current lineup, and the one before it, and the one before that. The last time they were bold was 2002 and that didn't go all that well. The 6th series and the convertible are reluctantly allowed to have some looks, but the main line-up shall always remain boring as a business suit.
