A properly driven widebodied VW Golf Mk1

Screaming at 9.300Rpm, this lightweight FWD classic is bound to be a legitimate weapon

Christian Speckl is the driver of one of the many crazy versions of the Classic Golf Mk1 present in the Austrian Hillclimb Racing Championship.

Easily identifiable thanks to its unique colour-scheme and widened bodykit, it is also one of the fastest and well driven in Europe. Belonging to the E1-1600 class, it is powered by a 1.6 litre engine capable of around 230Hp/9.300Rpm, with all this power moving less than 750Kg of total weight.
