A second part to The Grand Tour 'Lochdown' special is on the way, says Hammond

The trio filmed something else, but are not allowed to say what... just yet

The Grand Tour drops its latest special tomorrow where the trio heads to Scotland in three big American cars, but that isn't the end, according to Hammond.

In a recent interview with 'This Morning', Hammond revealed there is a second part to Lochdown which the trio has filmed, but we can't know anything about it just yet.

This other episode would have been filmed to comply with UK lockdown restrictions, so perhaps it is in Scotland still, or England, or even Ireland.

At this stage, we have no idea but what we do know is that it looks like the trio buys a second hand Renault R26R to use, according to The Grand Tour script editor, Richard Porter who briefly mentioned it in his podcast, Smith and Sniff.

All we can hope for is that the trio went to Clarkson's Farm and cause a commotion.

Where do you think the trio has gone and what have they done?

  • Three big land yachts would be the better term. 'Muscle cars' is not what they are with all respect.

  • I’m guessing this is the UK based special whereby the Trio answer the question, “Why do French Cars earn such a bad reputation?”

  • I assume it’ll be when they were in the Citroen SM, Renault Avantime and something else (which I can’t remember)

  • Would be daft if it's not in Scotland seen as it's called LOCHdown.... and there are only lochs in Scotland.
