A short sedan with a long name: LALDwood 2021
The Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution 2 isn't a very big car in any way, but it sure is a great one.
It isn't a great car because of its engine size or number of cylinders though, it's only got a 2.5 liter inline-four engine.
The engine doesn't even produce an insane number of horsepowers, the Evo 2 only has 232 of them. But the car did have some great technology, you could for example adjust the ride height with a switch from inside.
For aerodynamic reasons the Evo 2 has a huge rear wing as well as a big rear window spoiler. While the huge wing might not look very aerodynamic slippery at first glance, it's one of the factors reducing the Mercedes' drag to very low 0.29.
Unfortunately you can't open the hood or trunk on the Solido model, but you can open the front doors to have a better look at the nicely detailed interior. One detail I really like is the blue sun visor strip on the windshield making the model looking even more authentic than all the other details.
The only detail that isn't 100% authentic is the color, since 500 of the 502 Evo 2s were painted in a blue/black metallic color, and the other two in sliver, while this model is just black. But since the black fits the 190E Evo 2 very well, I can handle that inaccuracy very well.
Thank you very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it!
