A tour on old dirty roads
"Mostly clear with good chances of sunshine over Stockholm" - the weather forecast came with an urge to take the car for a trip. Just south of Stockholm ancient roads still winds through the old forests, a favourite among motorcyclicts and car enthusiasts during summer.
At the side of the road, just at the border between Grödinge and Västerhaninge, stands a runestone, erected by Håur, Karl, Sighjalm, Vihjälm and Kåre to commemorate Vigmar, it says (NFDK). The cross and the dragon indicates it was put there just at the time when Svealand was becoming Christian.
At the end of the road, lies Rosenhill with a racers café. They offer light lunches, pastries and drinks for the traveller and villagers. With a discount to cyclists.
Turning back again to enjoy the route one more time.
Then turning back, you can climb the hills of Tullinge and drive across Pålamalm.
The winter have not yet arrived to Stockholm, so the roads were wet and muddy. That does not make the roads less enjoyable. Afterwards the word to describe the car would be dirty, but that could be fixed.
Car taken care of, the order restored, 'til next time.
