Last month, Toyota unveiled the all-new, third-generation 2022 Tundra. The latest version of the Brand's popular and long-lasting half-ton pickup truck is more technologically-advanced and more capable than any Tundra that came before it. While Toyota hasn't yet released official pricing for the all-new 2022 Tundra, the Brand has released information about the Tundra's six different trim levels and feature content. Read on to find out more about the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra lineup. NOTE: Any and all pricing discussed in this article includes a mandatory destination fee, but does NOT include any applicable taxes, or other fees.

The all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra lineup consists of six models, including base SR, volume-leader SR5, luxurious Limited, loaded Platinum, Texas-themed 1794 Edition, and off-road capable TRD PRO. While all models are available in a four-door, five-passenger CrewMax Cab configuration, only the SR, SR5, and Limited trims are also available in a four-door, five or six-passenger Double Cab body style. All 2022 Tundras come well-equipped with a generous amount of standard equipment. Standard equipment on all 2022 Tundras include a cab-mounted LED rear cargo lamp, an easy lift-and-lower rear tailgate, an aluminum-reinforced composite pickup bed (box), front door handles with proximity keyless entry touch pads, engine and body under covers, a high-strength boxed steel frame with hydraulic cab mounts, a high-strength steel cab with aluminum front hood and front door panels, a rear backup camera system with projected path, a smart keyless access and entry system with a push-button starter, an acoustic-laminated front windshield, a fixed center console with a gated transmission shift lever, driving controls, center storage bin, and illuminated front tray, rear seat center console air vents (for CrewMax Cab models ONLY), a rear under-seat storage box with removable and adjustable partitions, back panel rear seat storage compartments, an overhead console with rear window control, sunglasses storage compartment, and Toyota Safety Connect controls, a 12V DC front auxiliary power outlet, the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 Plus (TSS2.5+) Package, the Toyota Star Safety System, eight total airbags, Toyota Safety Connect with an included paid trial subscription, power windows and door locks, Parking Support Brake (PKSB) and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RTCA), the LATCH System for rear child seat installation, child-protected rear door locks, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), trailer sway control (TSC), hill start assist control (HAC), Drive-Start Control (DSC), and active dual front seat headrests.

The base all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra trim level is still the SR, and is geared towards those who will be using their new Tundra as a work truck. Standard equipment on the base SR trim is still plentiful, and includes an independent double-wishbone front suspension system with stabilizer bar and twin-tube shock absorbers, electronic power steering (EPS), power-assisted ventilated 13.9-inch (13.9") front disc brakes with opposed dual-piston brake calipers and 13.6-inch (13.6") ventilated rear disc brakes with single-piston brake calipers, an electronic parking brake (EPB), eighteen-inch (18") styled steel wheels mounted on P245/75R18 tires, a black front grille with black horizontal bars, black exterior front and rear door handles, exterior side mirror caps, and exterior side window trim, chrome exterior badging, a black rear bumper with 'TUNDRA' rear tailgate stamping, LED front headlamps with daytime running lamps (DRL's) and manual-leveling adjustment, LED rear tail lamps, a deck rail header, dual power-adjustable, heated exterior side mirrors, an eight-inch (8.0") touchscreen Audio infotainment system with a six-speaker (Double Cab) or nine-speaker (CrewMax Cab) audio system, a 4.2-inch (4.2") full-color LCD instrument cluster display screen, a single-zone climate control system with air conditioning and air filtration, a power horizontal rear window with a defroster and privacy glass, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (ISRV), cloth seating surfaces, dual four-way manually-adjustable front seats, a polyurethane-wrapped steering wheel and transmission shift lever, a manual tilt-and-telescopic steering column, and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat. The only additional option available on the base SR trim is the SR Tow Package, which adds a trailer tow receiver hitch and associated wiring harnesses.

The all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra SR5 is expected to be the volume seller in the lineup, and adds more convenience and technology items onto the base SR trim. Features added onto the base SR trim include eighteen-inch (18") aluminum-alloy wheels mounted on P265/70R18 tires, a color-keyed front grille with black horizontal bars, black over fenders, LED front fog lamps, a deck rail header with side rails and adjustable tie-down cleats, an active aero front spoiler, a trailer tow hitch receiver with associated wiring, Tow/Haul Mode, a trailer brake control (TBC) system, and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat with a center armrest and cup holders. The SR5 Convenience Package adds a blind spot monitor (BSM) and a 32.3-gallon fuel tank. The SR5 Off-Road Advanced Technology Package includes all of the features of the SR5 Convenience Package, plus Multi Terrain Monitor (MTM), Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), and the Towing Technology Package. The BSM Out Mirrors Package adds a blind spot monitor (BSM), while the Premium Out Mirrors Package adds color-keyed exterior side mirror caps. The TRD Sport Package and TRD Off-Road Package both add unique exterior styling elements (the TRD Off-Road Package also adds the Multi Terrain Monitor (MTM)). The Air Suspension Package adds load-leveling control and a height-adjustable suspension system. Also available is a fourteen-inch (14.0") Audio Plus touchscreen infotainment system.

For those who want more luxury amenities and style on their all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra, there's the luxurious Limited trim. The Limited trim adds features onto the volume-leader SR5 trim such as twenty-inch (20") aluminum-alloy wheels mounted on P265/60R20 tires, a Satin Chrome front grille with gray-painted horizontal bars, gray-painted over fenders, chrome exterior front and rear door handles color-keyed exterior side mirror caps, and chrome exterior side window trim, a Satin Chrome rear bumper, a rear tailgate release bump switch, integrated side mirror-mounted LED turn signal indicators, a fourteen-inch (14.0") Audio Plus touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch (12.3") Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) LCD reconfigurable instrument cluster display screen, a dual-zone automatic climate control system with air conditioning, a power-sliding vertical rear window with a defroster (for CrewMax Cab models ONLY), a HomeLink universal garage door opener system, SofTex (leatherette)-trimmed seating surfaces, dual eight-way, power-adjustable front seats with two-way power-adjustable lumbar support, dual heated and ventilated front seats, an illuminated center console storage bin and glove box, "Soft-Touch" interior surfaces, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and transmission shift lever, a heated steering wheel, an electronically-locking fuel filler door, and a blind spot monitor (BSM) with rear cross-traffic alert (RTCA). The Limited PVM Package adds a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), while the Tow Mirrors Package adds black power-adjustable and heated exterior side mirrors. The Premium Tow Mirrors Package adds all of the components of both of the aforementioned packages, and both the TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road Packages remain available on the Limited trim, retaining all packaged features. The Limited Power Package adds premium LED front headlamps and the Towing Technology Package, as well as Qi-compatible wireless device charging, a 400W, 120V AC household-style rear power outlet, and a 400W 120V AC household-style rear bed (box) power outlet. The Rear Air Suspension Package from the SR5 trim remains available, and GPS navigation with a JBL premium amplified audio system and twelve speakers is available as well.

For those all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra buyers who want it all, there's the loaded Platinum trim. The Platinum trim adds even more luxury amenities onto the standard equipment of the luxurious Limited trim, including twenty-inch (20") dark-finished aluminum-alloy wheels, a Dark Chrome-finished front grille with Satin Chrome mesh, Gloss Black-painted exterior side window trim, premium LED front headlamps with daytime running lamps (DRL's), sequential turn signals, and automatic leveling adjustment, premium LED rear tail lamps with sequential turn signals, a power tilt-and-sliding dual-pane panoramic moonroof with a power sunshade, a trailer backup guide system with Straight Path Assist (SPA), rear door window sunshades, a digital display inside rearview mirror (ISRV), luxury leather-trimmed seating surfaces, dual outboard heated and ventilated rear split bench seats, a front driver's seat memory function, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, the Toyota Audio Multimedia fourteen-inch (14.0") touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, a twelve-speaker JBL premium amplified audio system, Qi-compatible wireless device charging, dual ten-way, power-adjustable front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The Premium Tow Mirrors Package from the Limited trim remains available on the Platinum, though a revised TRD Off-Road Package is available featuring larger aluminum-alloy wheels. The Advanced Package adds features such as a load-leveling and height-adjustable rear air suspension system, Adaptable Variable Suspension (AVS), and a ten-inch (10.0") full-color heads-up display (HUD) system.

The Texas-themed all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition takes the standard equipment of the loaded Platinum trim, and adds unique exterior and interior styling that celebrates the founding date of which the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas Assembly Plant, which assembles the smaller Tacoma, as well as the Tundra. Features added onto the loaded Platinum trim include twenty-inch (20") machined-finish aluminum-alloy wheels, gray-painted over fenders, chrome exterior front and rear door handles, and chrome exterior side mirror caps. Available packages on the Platinum trim include the Premium Tow Mirrors Package from the Limited and Platinum models, the TRD Off-Road Package from the Platinum model, and the Advanced Package from the Platinum trim.

For those who plan to take their all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra off-road, there's the off-road capable TRD PRO trim. The TRD PRO trim is situated between the luxurious Limited and loaded Platinum trims, and adds features onto the luxurious Limited trim such as standard four wheel drive (4WD), a unique suspension system catered towards off-road use, eighteen-inch (18") black-finished forged aluminum-alloy wheels mounted on thirty-three inch (33") tall (P285/65R18) Falken Wildpeak off-road tires, a color-keyed front grille with 'TOYOTA' lettering and a hexagonal insert with an integrated LED light bar, Gloss Black-painted exterior side mirror caps, black exterior front and rear door handles, 'TRD PRO' emblems on the front hood and rear tailgate, Black Technical Camo-finished over fenders and rear bumper, smoked-finish LED front headlamps with LED daytime running lamps (DRL's), sequential turn signals, and automatic leveling adjustment, a TRD aluminum front skid plate, red TRD coil-over springs and stabilizer bar, an electronically-controlled locking rear differential axle, front and rear mud guards, Xply Armor high-strength engine, fuel tank, and transfer case under covers, a dual-tipped black exhaust system with 'TRD PRO' debossed logos, a red TRD engine starter button, TRD-logoed SofTex (leatherette)-trimmed seating surfaces with Technical Camo-finished accents, a TRD PRO-logoed leather-wrapped transmission shift lever a TRD PRO-logoed leather-wrapped steering wheel, a heated steering wheel, a dual-pane sliding power panoramic moonroof, an Audio Multimedia fourteen-inch (14.0") touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, a twelve-speaker JBL premium amplified audio system, and aluminum foot pedals. There are no available options or packages on the off-road capable TRD PRO trim.

On all but the off-road capable TRD PRO trim, available exterior paint color options on the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra include Super White Clear Coat (Gloss White), Wind Chill Pearlcoat Metallic (Metallic Pearl White), Magnetic Gray Metallic (Metallic Dark Gray), Celestial Silver Metallic (Metallic Silver), Midnight Black Metallic (Metallic Black), Supersonic Red Clear Coat (Gloss Red), Smoked Mesquite Clear Coat (Gloss Bronze), Army Green Clear Coat (Gloss Green), Lunar Rock Clear Coat (Gloss Light Gray), and Blueprint Clear Coat (Gloss Dark Blue). Available exterior paint colors on the off-road capable all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO include Solar Octane Clear Coat (Gloss Yellow, a TRD PRO-exclusive exterior paint color option), Lunar Rock Clear Coat (Gloss Light Gray), Super White Clear Coat (Gloss White), and Midnight Black Metallic (Metallic Black). The standard engine on the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition in all cab configurations is the all-new twin-turbocharged i-Force 3.5L V6 gasoline engine producing an impressive 389 horsepower and 479 lb. ft. of torque. Standard on the off-road capable TRD PRO trim of the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra (and available on Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition models in CrewMax Cab configuration ONLY) is the i-Force MAX twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 gasoline engine with a hybrid electric motor. Together, the total system output of the i-Force MAX powertrain is an astonishing 437 horsepower and 583 lb. ft. of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission comes as standard equipment on all 2022 Toyota Tundra models, and all models offer either standard two-wheel-drive (4X2) or optional four-wheel-drive (4X4), except for the off-road capable TRD PRO trim, which includes standard four-wheel-drive (4X4).

The all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra will be produced at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas Assembly Plant just outside of San Antonio, Texas, and will be assembled alongside the midsize Toyota Tacoma. The all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra will reach Toyota dealerships nationwide in early Winter of 2021. While pricing isn't yet available for the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra, we expect pricing to range from around $30,000 for a base SR Double Cab 4X2 model with the i-Force engine, to just over $50,000 for a fully-loaded TRD PRO CrewMax Cab 4X4 model with the i-Force MAX engine.
