A tyre made from Duct tape is proof it will fix anything
Do not try this at home – just don’t
Among the many things that you just shouldn’t do, making your own parachute at home is one of them – for blindingly obvious reasons. Also on the list is making your own tyres out of Duct tape, because that would be a stupid idea.
This hasn’t stopped the mechanics at Life OD trying though, as they somehow managed to make a relatively workable tyre from 20-odd rolls of Duct tape – because why not.

The first astonishing fact from the clip is that it somehow Duct tape seems to work pretty well as a replacement for an actual tyre – with the second being they actually did a burnout on it without ending up dead or even being mildly injured.
It’s true – Duct tape can fix anything
Somehow, using a material that is usually found holding up most of the furniture in my house the Life OD team actually made a working tyre. I mean, I wouldn’t want to go drifting with tyres made of Duct tape – but I could for a few short minutes until they fail, which would surely lead to a grisly end.
For those of you thinking of trying this at home – just don’t, not now not ever.

The money spent on all that duct tape is probably more expensive than an actual tire, white brand.
Do they come in different compounds a la Pirelli??
Maybe the different compounds are different brands like dollar store duct tape or duck tape brand
