  • 5 litres / 100 km over all, without the aid of a computer or fuel injection. Quite reliable. Incredibly cheap to run, and surprisingly roomy. Very very easy to service. Ohv engine always happy to tick over at relatively low rpm. Utes ( 1970 - 2007 in S.A. , ) were incredibly good plumbers and electricians trucks, nimble on building sites, and would carry 500 kg in the tray .
