Abu Dhabi police recruit new £2.6 million hypercar
It's a bit of an upgrade from an Astra...
As you may know, the Dubai Police have some outrageous cars in their fleet, such as a Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari FF, Aston Martin One-77, Bentley Bentayga etc. But, have Abu Dhabi just blown them out of the water?
The Abu Dhabi Police have just added the infamous Lykan Hypersport to its fleet of cars. Not only is this car outrageously fast but also comes with a fairly hefty price tag. The Lykan Hypersport can get from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds which results in a top speed of 245 mph.
The Lykan itself is the first supercar to be made in the Middle East so this adds to the unique factor the car possesses. To buy one of these you need to be very, very wealthy. This costs about £2.6 million ($3.4 million). A bit more than your average British Bobby's mode of transport.
Of course, like all other police supercars, this is just a gimmick but a good one at that. If you remember Fast and Furious 7, then you will remember this ultra-rare hypercar as it played a big role in the film smashing through buildings.
