The Honda (or Acura, if you live in America) Integra is somewhat of a sidekick character from the '90s Honda glory days. Indeed, if you were born anytime in 2004 or later, you may have never heard of the thing. While the S2000 and NSX got all the glory, the Integra sat on the side as the more practical sporty Honda, one that you might actually use as a family car. Indeed, some dads did. One of them was mine, who used a dark blue DC2 Integra VTi to drive me around Australia since I was 2. It's the reason I saw cars as machines that can excite and thrill, which couldn't really be said had I spent my childhood in the back of a Toyota Corolla. Anyway, back to the Integra. The teaser video has a distinct engine growl at the end, which rules out the prospect of it being an EV (or at the very least, solely electric). This is very good news, however a part of me can't help thinking that now with the NSX going out of production very soon with the last 350 Type S units, that this may be one of the last ICE Honda/Acura performance cars. But let's enjoy the present. There's a new 2022 Integra, and it's music to the automotive community (much like it's meaty engine soundtrack).

You can register your interest at acura.com/future-vehicles/integra (for US residents only). Or, like me, wait and pray it'll be available wherever you live. Also, stay tuned for future updates.
