The market for wireless earphones is massive. This is (mostly) due to Apple's AirPods. These are wireless earphones which are smart looking, decent sounding, reasonably priced and have a lot of features built in.
AirPods are like the conventional "EarPods" which come with every iPhone. They are slightly bigger (which is understandable due to the built in technology and batteries). There are tiny black dots on them which detect if they're in your ear or not.
Dependant on what AirPods you get, they have different features. The ones with the wireless charging case comes with "Hey SIRI" and many options when you double tap the side of them such as next / previous track, play / pause & SIRI. They automatically pause and play when one is taken out of your ear and put back in.
The AirPods Pro have many features both alike the "normal" AirPods, and have many features such as noise cancellation and "Transparent mode" which uses the microphones and makes the noise louder, which is great for going on runs / cycles.
The "normal" AirPods are £160, the AirPods with wireless charging case is £200, and the AirPods Pro are £250.
If you own any Apple laptop, computer, or smartphone, I'd get the AirPods. If you own something that isn't made by Apple, get the Beats Powerbeats Pro, Sony WF-1000XM3, or Amazon Echo Buds. The AirPods Pro are great if you travel by train or plane a lot, they are also great if you exercise a lot. The "normal" £160 AirPods are great if you are an entry-level buyer and the AirPods with wireless charging are for more advanced users who aren't ready for AirPods Pro, if you do want the AirPods with wireless charging, buy the Pros!
