Alex Rins will participate in the German GP
The Suzuki rider should receive the final validation to race tomorrow
Last Thursday Alex Rins, Team Suzuki rider in MotoGP, suffered a bike accident while doing test laps at the Barcelona circuit. Due to the fall, the Spanish rider suffered a fracture in his arm which prevented him from participating in the Catalan GP.
After receiving a surgical operation, Rins was examined this morning by a medical commission which validated his participation in the German GP which will take place this weekend. Before starting the tests, the Spaniard will still have to undergo a further medical examination tomorrow at the hospital of the Sachsenring circuit to receive the final green light to race.
Rins is currently in 15th place in the drivers' standings due to three retirements and a twentieth place obtained at the Jerez GP. To get a better result Rins needs to have a more consistent performance, or his position in the Suzuki team could be compromised.
