Alfa Romeo is planning to build another supercar

It has been quite a long time since Alfa Romeo has built a supercar. The last one they built was the spider version of the 8C Competizione which was for a short period in production in 2010.

Tim Kuniskis who is chief of Alfa Romeo said this, “On capital market day, we did say that we were planning on doing an 8C. We said we’re going to build a supercar.”

When Autoguide asked anymore details on the production of Alfa Romeo's new supercar Kuniskis replied by saying, “Oh, you know I’m not going to tell you that.”

With Tim Kuniskis keeping his cards close to his chest we only know so far that it could be the perfect successor for the 8C Competizione.

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was a incredibly rare model with only a total of 500 units made which means there could even be less built of their new supercar.

  • I don`t think Alfa romeo truly did a Supercar with the 4C, in any case they must be planning to make another "Sportscar" to compete with the likes of the mx5 and bmw, but honestly they would do better with a hard power increase, getting at least 300hp would make the car in theory a "supercar" in terms of handling.
