Alfa Romeo to recall 60,000 vehicles
The recall is regarding an issue with the adaptive cruise control in certain Giulias and Stelvios
FCA's Alfa Romeo is issuing a recall for nearly 60,000 Giulias and Stelvios worldwide to fix an issue related to the vehicle's adaptive cruise control system.
The problem, which Alfa say, may cause the system to not shut down even when the brakes are applied. Under certain conditions, it may even cause the vehicle to accelerate.
This might sound frightening, and it almost certainly is. But, Fiat say that the feature can still be turned off by pressing the brake pedal for a longer period of time. However, FCA urges the customers not to use the feature until it is fixed. Owners of these vehicles might be notified next month regarding the details of the recall.
Meanwhile, fellow DriveTribers who have a Stelvio or Giulia, stay safe.

This is what we look for in Italian cars. Human like qualities like women. It has major ups and downs. It is just asking for TLC. This is what makes Italian cars great! Now let’s just ask how 60,000 Alfa owners feel. 🤣
To everyone who always said “the Giulia and Stelvio are the best in class”, haha.
Pure Alfa Romeo, good at looks and performance bad at everything else 😂
It is an Alfa what did you expect 🤣🤣
Oh god! Seems like FCA's struggling a bit when it comes to quality.
