On a hot, humid and mostly overcast day in February, South Australian American car enthusiasts bring their pride and joy out for people to admire.
A large playing field in the Adelaide foot-hills was the choice of venue this year, and support from car clubs was particularly strong, bolstered by recent changes to car registration rules which have made it much easier to obtain cheap registration for classic (and particularly modified) vehicles.
The hot weather (35 degrees plus) possibly kept away a percentage of the spectators, but there were still plenty there, and crowds continued to grow over the several hours I was present taking photographs. I did notice an exceptionally high number of photographers wandering around.
So, on with a few pictures of the event and a sample of the cars I found most interesting!
There was the unusual!
Old favourites like the "Don't touch the Indian" GMC Truck
Wild CUsttins!
A vert strong turnout of Cadillacs!
Dozens of Corvettes
Trucks!
Muscle Cars
Classics!
Vintage and Veterans!
And of course - Hot Rods!
Stay tuned for more pictures of the teasers above and much, much more!

What a great looking show! Hot Rods, Thunderbirds and Classics! That's the recipe for a great show!
It exceeded my expectations, that's for sure! Add in that nothing was crowded in on anything else, the massive amount of space for people to wander around in so that it didn't get too crowded, and it was actually very enjoyable to take photos! ...
