Alright imma revive this tribe with an idea that I have. Custom build a full suspension mountain bike. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a mountain bike with a suspension fork in the front and a rear shock towards the end of the frame. One is in the pic below. The reason why I have decided to do a custom build on one is because the cheapest ones start at around $1,500 USD, and that is way over my budget. With full support from my parents, I can now build one myself, and it will be a lot cheaper. So here is how each stage of the build will go: Stage 1: find all parts and bike frame, then order them (current stage). Stage 2: repaint frame, then wait for it to dry. Stage 3: start and finish adding all parts needed. Stage 4: take it to a bike shop for an inspection to make sure it won’t kill me when I use it, and that everything is in working order. Stage 5: find a good trail and finally use it. This will probably be finished around March and I will post a lot of progress updates. So yeah, that is it!
