Alternate view from a Porsche GT3 of that horrific Nurburgring pile-up.

Talk about a serious pucker up.. This is intense. [Offensive language warning].

Yesterday we posted about the incredibly awful pile up on the 'ring whereby a Porsche blew a coolant pipe, spraying slippery liquid all over a dangerously high speed section of the track.

A good samaritan tried to flag down oncoming cars, in the absence of a flag marshal (who had allegedly knocked off early for the day), however became entangled in the mess himself.

Here we have a new view of the tail end of the events as they unfolded, this time from the perspective of a Porsche driver who understandably panics and wants to GTFO from the line of fire.

The tone in his voice says it all.

This is one of the lucky ones.

"And another.... and another...." :'(

  • Rule #1 on a hot track: STAY IN YOUR CAR UNLESS YOU ARE ON FIRE.

Rule #2 on a hot track: KEEP DRIVING UNLESS YOU ARE RED-FLAGGED.

This is not your accident, drive on through and let emergency services handle it.

(Not saying you are, just saying anyone who drives past a wreck like that not in a race would be)
