Every year, when summer is about to really kick off - a rather interesting bunch of car enthusiasts are gathered at a campsite in the Norwegian city Kristiansand.

People from far and near brings caravans, tents and their favourite American cars for a full weekend of greasy food, good drinks, live music and of course - petrol fueled fun.

I’ve done my fair share of camping when I was younger, but now the thought alone makes me shudder. Luckily, I was just over for a daily visit - and it was a pretty cool day!

If there’s no Mustang, is it really an American car meet? (PHOTO: Helene Helle)

  • I always loved the Lincoln continental convertible. So if I ever would buy an American (which I won't) I guess it would've been one of those. But camping isn't my favorite way of spending the days either😂
