Over the next few weeks I'm living with the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE – it's a roadgoing retro-style, uh, scrambler motorcycle designed for a mix of pottering and hooning about sodden back lanes while feeling good about life.
Sadly for Triumph, I've heard the XE version is designed to handle off-road shenanigans. So before I took the big Scrambler on a proper road ride for a review (coming next week), I thought it'd be fun to head onto a local trail after a week of the worst rain in living memory. Bear in mind I have basically zero off-road experience, and this was steeper than it looked. Enjoy the heavy breathing.

Looks like you need a tow.
Or a spade lol it was proper stuck in soft peat
The NOOB needs knobby’s
I'd love to try one, but i don't think i'll be parting with my old 2009 900cc scrambler anytime soon as i love it to much. Even though the brake calipers are in a handy place to get knocked off if you go off roading. I also know the old 900 isn't really an off road bike but it copes with the country pot holey roads i live down. If i'm ever rich enough to own two bikes then i might have them both. Great video though.
Thanks Mark - lovely pic
Yep, from behind and with a motorcycle helmet on is my good looking angle. lol
I’d like to be with this idiot 😆
Riding the back of the saddle with a bow and arrow, dressed in bandit's green...
